Privacy Policy

Effective August 1, 2026

The short version

Paid Apollo is a paid membership for people building e-commerce businesses. We collect what we need to run the product — your account, your billing status, and the things you submit for review — and we don't sell your data, run ads, or use third-party analytics trackers. This page lists exactly what we collect, what it's used for, and who processes it on our behalf.

What we collect

Account. Your email address, password, and name when you sign up. Passwords are handled by our auth provider (Supabase) — we never see or store them ourselves. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account instead of a password.

Profile. Anything you add to your profile: display name, headline, and avatar. If you verify your revenue, we also store the bracket you claimed and the screenshot you uploaded as proof.

Billing.Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe's checkout — we never see or store card numbers. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan, its status and billing dates, and the amounts you've paid.

Things you submit for review. Product links, ad links and creatives, store URLs, uploaded screenshots of your Meta Ads and Shopify metrics, the numbers you type into the Scaling Coach, and any notes you attach. Review results (verdicts, notes, review videos) are stored with your submission.

Discord. If you connect Discord, we request only the basic identity scope and store your Discord user ID and username — never your Discord email or message history outside our server. We use it to grant and remove the member role in our Discord server, and for Pro members, to manage a private channel there.

Learning activity.Course progress, private lesson notes, saved items, and which review results you've seen — used to show your progress and keep your dashboard accurate.

Messages. Direct messages between you and our team inside the app. These are visible to the operator for support and moderation.

If you apply before joining. The application funnel collects your name, email, phone number, and quiz answers so we can contact you about membership. If you join the free Discord funnel, we collect your email to send the invite and add you to our mailing list — you can opt out any time by contacting us.

Cookies & analytics

  • Session cookies keep you signed in (essential — set by our auth provider).
  • One first-party analytics cookie (a random ID, kept for up to a year) on our public pages tells us which funnel pages were viewed and how much of our video was watched. It stores no name, no IP address, and no browsing outside our site. If you later apply, it links that anonymous session to your application.
  • Your theme preference is stored in your browser only.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party tracker. Like nearly every website, the services that host and serve our pages (Vercel, our font CDN, and the video players on public pages) see standard web requests, which include your IP address.

AI & automated processing

Some review features use AI and automated systems to produce or assist results. In particular, Scaling Coach submissions — your uploaded metric screenshots and the numbers you enter — are processed by Anthropic (the AI provider behind Claude) to extract metrics and produce your review, and repeat product submissions may receive an automated verdict based on an earlier review. We don't send your name or email to the AI provider — only the submission itself.

Who processes your data

We share data only with the services that run the product, only for the purposes described here:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage. Everything above lives here.
  • Stripe — payments. Receives your email and an account reference; holds your card details.
  • Anthropic — AI processing of review submissions (screenshots and metrics, no identity).
  • Discord — community. Receives your membership status via role assignment; holds whatever you post in the server.
  • Resend — email delivery. Receives your email address and the messages we send you.
  • Vercel — hosting. Serves the site and keeps standard server logs.
  • Cloudflare Stream — course video hosting. Streams video to your browser.
  • Daily.co — 1-on-1 video calls. Your call runs through their service; we do not record calls.

We never sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.

What other members can see

Your display name, avatar, headline, verified-revenue badge, and (if connected) Discord username can be visible to other members. Your submissions, reviews, notes, messages, and billing details are not shown to other members. If you submit a win and we feature it, your name, avatar, and the win you shared appear publicly as a testimonial — that's stated on the submission form, and only wins you submit are used.

A note on uploaded files

Files you upload (screenshots, creatives, avatars) and review videos are stored at hard-to-guess links that don't require a login to open. They aren't listed anywhere public, but anyone who has the exact link can view the file — so don't upload anything you wouldn't want visible outside the app, and crop screenshots to what's needed.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account exists so your history, reviews, and progress are there when you come back. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Stripe and Discord retain their own records under their own policies.

To delete your account and data, email support@paidapollo.com from your account email. We'll delete your account and the data we hold about you, except records we're required to keep (like payment history). The same address works for access or correction requests, or any privacy question.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the effective date above and note it to members. Questions? Email support@paidapollo.com. See also our Terms of Service.
